Medina, Minn., (5/5/2009) - It was another double header weekend for the Polaris/Rath/Duro Team and it proved to be successful for both teams. The weather made it perfectly clear the team was in two different locations, the MX team enjoyed sun with some mild temperatures while the GNCC team had to fight Mother Nature’s worst elements, rain and lots of mud!

Minneapolis, April 21, 2009 –The RANGER RZR is having another strong racing season with more success at Best in the Desert’s, Terribles 250 at Primm. Mark Holz and Matt Parks took the UTV class finishing eight-and-a-half minutes in front of the second-place winner.

Minneapolis, January 20, 2009 –The 2009 DAKAR saw 23 ATVs start with only 13 finishing. Of that 13, three were members of Team Polaris!

French Racer Hubert Deltrieu, winner of the DAKAR Series Central Europ, Lybia Desert Challenge, Pharaons Rallye and second at the DAKAR Series Portugal, had a very good showing taking fourth.  Eric Carlini took eighth and Betty Kraft took ninth and became the first woman to finish the DAKAR on an ATV. Italian Racer Pietro Fogliani had to leave the race due to a hand injury.

Minneapolis, January 14, 2009 – Jagged X picked up the 2009 Best in the Desert Series where they left off in 2008, taking first at the Epic Products Parker 250 for their sixth consecutive win!

The No. 1919 started in eighth position with Brandon Schueler and new team member Chad Riccio in the navigator seat. They quickly worked to the front of the pack and diced for the lead spot for nearly 100 miles. With about 40 miles left, the Polaris team took the lead for their first 2009 win.

Minneapolis, November 11, 2008- It was a weekend about firsts. This was the first-annual Heartland Challenge, it was the first time the new Polaris Sportsman 850 XP EPS competed at an AMA /ATVA Sanctioned event, and it was the first time a Polaris 850 XP EPS Sportsman took a podium spot at an AMA/ATVA Event.
